Long time no talk?

Okay okay, I never post on here. I will get better! We got a new laptop now, as our old one could only hold a charge for a minute. So I will be better!

UPDATES:

Family: Brandon and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in June by spending the day together in Malbis. We went shopping, ate out, and saw a movie. I love being married, and couldn't have asked for a better "match" than Brandon to put up with me and my hair-brained antics. Brandon, Tux, and I spend our time lately watching college football, eating snacks. Brandon is teaching 12 Grade Sunday School now, which is exciting. I get to cook breakfast goodies for them every 3rd Sunday. Tux is growing so big! He is about 50 lbs now. We are thinking about getting him a little brother or sister in the future.... Brandon wants another boxer, but we will see. Brandon and I went on vacay with the Ringls the last week in September. We had a great time in Orlando! We went to Sea World, Aquatica, Islands of Adventure and Universal studios. We also spent some well deserved relaxing time by the pool and in the hot tubs! We went to Brandon's parents Halloween party last night, and found out that Brandon's big sister, Angela, is preggos! She is in her 14th week and so I have added her to my prayer list. My brother, Matt, is building his first house, and is ecstatic! I cannot wait to see the finished product. Brandon and I went over there last week to help him clean up before an inspection, which he passed!

Work: Brandon is still working at NWFHG, he likes it but is praying for a change in his life to do something more related to his degree. I started a new job in June at the Andrews Institute. YES! Still having to drive to Gulf Breeze everyday. But, I enjoy it. My title is Medical Assistant (Clerical) / Scheduler and I mainly work for Dr. Paulos, on Thursdays, Dr. Andrews. Dr. Paulos is a knee and shoulder specialist if you are interested, let me know I will get you in! I am trying to get Brandon a job there in research, which is right up his alley! Please pray!

Sports: I still love Auburn football, and yes we stink. But we have tickets for the game next week and I can only hope that we beat Ole Miss so that Brandon won't rub it in on the 3.5 hour ride home!

Etc: Our house is coming along, we need visitors in our guest bedroom! We have added our touches over the last year and are just so proud. I am growing my hair out! YAY.

I will try to update more often!!!

MISS ALL OF YOU WHO ARE FAR AWAY NOW! :(

Easter! and Tux...

Our lives have been consumed with Tux lately, since he doesn't have all his shots, he can't really go anywhere... he is so cute!

Tux playing...

Tux lounging in his backyard...

Tux snoozing next to daddy...

Tux wearing our stuffed Boxer's, Slugger, hat!

Also, this was our first Easter married, so we decided to take a family photo! My mom was supposed to take these, but she forgot her camera. Therefore, this was taken on my camera with a timer, and we have a cool timer that will take 3 pics in a row. I thought it would be funnier to show you ALL the pics...

Happy Easter!

Grandpa...

If you know me very well you know that I listen to music constantly. I was listening to my Judds CD this morning and this song came on. A classic, but I really got to thinking how true it is today.

Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Sometimes it feels like this worlds gone crazy
Grandpa, take me back to yesterday
When the line between right and wrong
Didn't seem so hazy

Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other, come what may
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days

Grandpa, everything is changing fast
We call it progress, but I just don't know
And grandpa, Let's wander back into the past
And paint me the picture of long ago

Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other come what may
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say and then forget
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days

Mhmm, mhmm, mhmmm, mhmm, mhmm,
mhmm mhmm

Mhmm, mhmm, mhmmm, mhmm, mhmm,
mhmm mhmm

Did families really bow their heads to pray?
Did daddies really never go away?

Tux Henry, like Tuxedo....

So, if you know us, you know that we've been wanting a puppy forever! But, we've always said we were going to wait a certain amount of time, etc, etc.

Well, on Saturday we went to look at puppies!!!!! We drove to Bonifay, FL (Hoomes County) to visit two litters of puppies. And after much thought and the hour and a half drive home, we decided on a little guy....

We think we're going to name him Tux because he has a white chest and white on the ends of his little paws. In about 4 weeks we will go pick him up! He and his brothers and sisters were born on January 23rd! Yes, that is MY BIRTHDAY! YAY!!!! Here is a pic of Tux:When we get him, I will DEFINITELY update with more pics of our son!

no need for titles

i guess you could say we've just been living life. last week we did our normal things, chuch, crossroads, chosen, etc. Wednesday night Pastor Ted started a 4 week long "study" with the couples that got married at Olive within the last year. We are doing a study called "Love Busters" This should be really good for us! Brandon admitted to the class that he was OCD and that he maybe should tone it down. LOL. Anyway, we've only been married for what going on 8 months. We have A LOT to learn about each other, etc. should be fun.

Thursday night we ate some yummy lasagna at Brandon's parents house. His mom has been trying out new recipes on us, we love em! delicious. After tha, we went to BCM and saw some old friends. Blum was speaking and Rachel invited us, so... we went. I think I either caught something from BCM or work, either way, I started to get sick:(.

Friday night, we went with Brandon's coworkers to Chilis to say goodbye to some people who were leaving and to celebrate someone's birthday. It's kinda cool because I used to work there before him, so I get to see people again! I went to bed at like 9 oclock!!

Saturday I sat on the couch! Watched a couple episodes of LOST season 4. We went bowling with Brandon's parents, their friends, Steve, Amanda and Ava and DANIMAL. (aka Dan Benigno) There was a special of buy two hours get one free, we used the free one that day!!!! wow 3 hours of bowling... me and amanda cut out during hour 3. We got there about 4:45 and left at like 8:30, we la ha'd it up then went home.

Since I was still sick on Sunday, we didn't go to church. I watched more LOST and we went to bed early. Brandon and my bro Matt worked on the hot tub getting it ready to use! And Dan came over to get it going electrically. We are excited!!! Steve and Amanda really want us to get it going, (m&e amanda said she always wanted you guys to) haha

I stayed home from work today, just trying to feel better. Pray for me!!

Valentine's Day is next weekend, I'm thinking of how to celebrate... wish me luck.

It's been a long time coming down...

Well we've been busy. Between Christmas, going out of town, dealing with family, first Christmas as a married couple, etc. etc. We've been just busy little bees.

Work has been busy for both of us, but we are so thankful to have jobs!!

so, this week...
I celebrated my 23rd birthday last Friday on January 23! Yes, that's right my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY! In my family that means you get a cookie cake. Work threw me a party and I got a cookie cake there too! For lunch that day I got to eat at Tra Fertelli (Three Brother's) and I'm sure I spelled that wrong. Anyway, it was delicious! My wonderful husband 'dinner and movied me' that night. We ate at the Tuscan Oven!!! (Matt and Elizabeth we know you miss it) Which is amazing! We didn't get our normal waitress, Amanda, but we did get a waiter that had a striking resemblance to EDWARD CULLEN. I told him that, he said, "Who?" Then Brandon and I went to see "Revolutionary Road." Which should have been titled, "Horrible Movie."

***SPOILER ALERT***
they fight and fight and fight. and just when you think its going to get better, they fight some more. then he cheats on her, then she cheats on him. THEN SHE DIES!!!!!!! Let's not call this a good date movie, or golden birthday movie.

Saturday I went shopping with my mama mia. She's my favorite shopping partner! Then that night we went to Bonefish. Our table had 3 Bang Bang shrimps! YUM YUM. We went with my parents, my brothers, and Brandon's parents. It was a great dinner. Later, we went to a coworkers house and played Cranium and we taught them MAFIA, which they really got into.

Sunday morning we went to church and it was the last week of Pastor Ted's talks on the youth of our Nation. So, all of the Chosen girls wore our shirts and sat in the front to make a statement!

Brandon and I watched some movies on Sunday afternoon! We love our blockbuster total access!

Right now, I am just wishing the next 55 mins will go by fast! LOST IS COMING ON!!!!
