no need for titles

i guess you could say we've just been living life. last week we did our normal things, chuch, crossroads, chosen, etc. Wednesday night Pastor Ted started a 4 week long "study" with the couples that got married at Olive within the last year. We are doing a study called "Love Busters" This should be really good for us! Brandon admitted to the class that he was OCD and that he maybe should tone it down. LOL. Anyway, we've only been married for what going on 8 months. We have A LOT to learn about each other, etc. should be fun.

Thursday night we ate some yummy lasagna at Brandon's parents house. His mom has been trying out new recipes on us, we love em! delicious. After tha, we went to BCM and saw some old friends. Blum was speaking and Rachel invited us, so... we went. I think I either caught something from BCM or work, either way, I started to get sick:(.

Friday night, we went with Brandon's coworkers to Chilis to say goodbye to some people who were leaving and to celebrate someone's birthday. It's kinda cool because I used to work there before him, so I get to see people again! I went to bed at like 9 oclock!!

Saturday I sat on the couch! Watched a couple episodes of LOST season 4. We went bowling with Brandon's parents, their friends, Steve, Amanda and Ava and DANIMAL. (aka Dan Benigno) There was a special of buy two hours get one free, we used the free one that day!!!! wow 3 hours of bowling... me and amanda cut out during hour 3. We got there about 4:45 and left at like 8:30, we la ha'd it up then went home.

Since I was still sick on Sunday, we didn't go to church. I watched more LOST and we went to bed early. Brandon and my bro Matt worked on the hot tub getting it ready to use! And Dan came over to get it going electrically. We are excited!!! Steve and Amanda really want us to get it going, (m&e amanda said she always wanted you guys to) haha

I stayed home from work today, just trying to feel better. Pray for me!!

Valentine's Day is next weekend, I'm thinking of how to celebrate... wish me luck.

It's been a long time coming down...

Well we've been busy. Between Christmas, going out of town, dealing with family, first Christmas as a married couple, etc. etc. We've been just busy little bees.

Work has been busy for both of us, but we are so thankful to have jobs!!

so, this week...
I celebrated my 23rd birthday last Friday on January 23! Yes, that's right my GOLDEN BIRTHDAY! In my family that means you get a cookie cake. Work threw me a party and I got a cookie cake there too! For lunch that day I got to eat at Tra Fertelli (Three Brother's) and I'm sure I spelled that wrong. Anyway, it was delicious! My wonderful husband 'dinner and movied me' that night. We ate at the Tuscan Oven!!! (Matt and Elizabeth we know you miss it) Which is amazing! We didn't get our normal waitress, Amanda, but we did get a waiter that had a striking resemblance to EDWARD CULLEN. I told him that, he said, "Who?" Then Brandon and I went to see "Revolutionary Road." Which should have been titled, "Horrible Movie."

***SPOILER ALERT***
they fight and fight and fight. and just when you think its going to get better, they fight some more. then he cheats on her, then she cheats on him. THEN SHE DIES!!!!!!! Let's not call this a good date movie, or golden birthday movie.

Saturday I went shopping with my mama mia. She's my favorite shopping partner! Then that night we went to Bonefish. Our table had 3 Bang Bang shrimps! YUM YUM. We went with my parents, my brothers, and Brandon's parents. It was a great dinner. Later, we went to a coworkers house and played Cranium and we taught them MAFIA, which they really got into.

Sunday morning we went to church and it was the last week of Pastor Ted's talks on the youth of our Nation. So, all of the Chosen girls wore our shirts and sat in the front to make a statement!

Brandon and I watched some movies on Sunday afternoon! We love our blockbuster total access!

Right now, I am just wishing the next 55 mins will go by fast! LOST IS COMING ON!!!!

Chosen, Dave Ramsey, and sports

Well our lives have been busy. SO BUSY- not time to take pics! Sorry Tara! When people tell you that when you get older you just get busier, that is so true.

For the last few weeks I've been working with Whitney and Christi Tyner on the Chosen high school girls ministry from Olive. Well. the "Pace" class. This has been great for me. I have always wanted to teach high school just because I really enjoyed that time of my life. These girls are great, they have such a thirst for God and they just want to learn! Please pray that this goes well and the girls learn alot.

Brandon and I started a class on Sunday afternoons call FPU, Financial Peace University. It's so great, Dave Ramsey uses his life experiences of getting out of debt, building wealth, and retiring with dignity to teach others. We are taking the class at Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton. It's a 13 week class, so a big commitment! We are learning so much. It so awesome once you get your finances together how you can give more to ministry and furthering God's kingdom. Not to mention, retire, something I thought our generation couldn't do!! Brandon and I like it so much, we are most likely going to teach the class next spring.

College Football, MLB Playoffs, NFL, Pace High! Our weekends have been consumed with Sports lately! Every Friday night we've been going to the Pace games. My parents have season tickets and that is so fun. Not to mention, my buds in the Press Box that I visit every time I come back. So nice to have a "home." I remember going to the games as an elementary school student. MEMORIES, and WOW time flies. Every Saturday we invite whoever wants to come over to watch some college football. WAR EAGLE!!!! My tigers lost last week, but thats okay. I'm still a fan! Brandon's so happy that Ole Miss is actually winning ;) jk honey.

We are wanting to go camping one of these weekends. Hoping to give you an update on that and some pics of our adventure!

Until next time!

Krista and Brandon

Hello Mrs. Lady!

Hello All! I have been lacking in the posting department, please forgive me. We've been busy busy bees.

Last Friday we had the Harrod's over for dinner, and it was so nice to have them. We ate steak! yum yum. Then we had alot of Olive friends over to play Mafia, which was fun. I wasn't in the Mafia the whole night!

Saturday was rainy and we kept waiting for the bottom to drop out but it never did. So we headed to Pensacola and had tacos with Sarah & Ryan- a ritual we are trying to start. Oh! And we also watched American Gangster, yikes.
Sunday we overslept and missed church, and when we finally woke up, I made some pancakes and bacon, YUMMY and we watched Perfect Stranger with Bruce Willis and Halle Berry. Wow, a great movie, a little twisted with that guy from The other sister, but good nonetheless. Then we went to my parents and hung out for awhile, went into Pensacola and bought up Bed Bath and Beyond and went home and had a nice dinner, just the two of us.

This week has been fun Brandon accepted a new job at NWFHG, where I worked before SG. As an EKG tech and all around diagnostic testing assistant. I think he's really excited since he will be working from 8-4:30 and no weekends! :) Not to mention it's a step in the direction of healthcare which is his love.

I am going to be working with the high school girls on a Bible study called Chosen this semeseter. Whitney and Christy are working with the girls in Pace and Mrs. Sturgeon is doing the Pensacola girls. EXCITING :)

My aunt Marla is in town for her high school reunion so we went to Bonefish last night. I had never been there, it was sooo good. That bang bang shrimp, yummy!!! I just realized I talk ALOT about food.

Well until next time,
xo,
krista

Hey look out for that moving van!

Hi all my wonderful readers!

Brandon and I are closing on our house on Thursday...TOMORROW! I'm so excited, we will be moving in this weekend!

We have had some hiccups along the way.. but that's okay! I have rented a U-HAUL Truck for this Saturday at 8 AM. I have experienced God's blessings and His ability to wrap His arms around me in the last few weeks. Amazing how He takes my fears, worries, and throws them so far away. I love Him for it.

Please pray that all our furniture comes in, and that we love it. And that we can finally get a TV for Brandon since we do have NFL Sunday Ticket this fall. (and this fall only since we are new to Direct TV) Let's just say we are so happy to finally start our lives in our house. Not to say the Value Place hasn't been good to us... :)Next weekend, my good friend Jessica Lindsey is getting married to Matt Barnes! I'm excited to be one of her bridesmaids and have another good friend be married and live in Pensacola. Then on August 16 Charity and Jonathan Butler are getting married, I am so jealous of her! She doesn't have to change her name!

Well... until next time. I will talk to you all after I move in!!!

krista

WOWSER!

Hello All! Long time no talk! Sorry, we've been busy!

Weekend Update: 4th of July! Brandon and I were both off for the 4th and although we were supposed to lay our wood floors, that didn't happen, we got to have a fun weekend together. Friday we mainly spent our day looking at furniture for the house. We don't have any living room or bedroom furniture so that's what we were out for. We were hoping for some Independence Day Sales!

We fell in love with a living room from Home Place in Pensacola. See our entertainment center below:
We are hoping to put our wood floors in this week, get the trim up, get the sprinkler system installed, throw some sod and move in by July 26! We will see...

If we do move in by the 26th, then I owe my dad a new pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses for his birthday. haha

On Saturday the 5th, I got my haircut, and we shopped for some more furniture in Milton and found our bedroom suite at Badcock's. We then had a cookout at my parents house, swam in the pool, and watched Charlie Bartlett. Which was interesting....

Our week was fairly busy, with work, softball games, Crossroads, work, cleaning the house, work, best buy, etc...

Weekend Update:
On Friday Brandon and I had to attend a mortgage class in order to get a mortgage from our lender. It was mostly boring, with some interesting times. We ate lunch at New York Nick's downtown so that was fun. We went to Tuscan Oven for dinner and saw Wall-E . We didn't like Wall-E all that much... just FYI.

Saturday we worked at our house trying to get it ready to put the wood floors in. We are so excited to get done and moved in! We will definitely be having a party once that happens. Saturday night an old coworker of mine was getting married so we went to her wedding at the NAS Officer's Club. It was really fun a very interesting wedding/reception...bad dj...whew.

Sunday we went to Church and then did laundry, made homemade pizzas and funnel cakes at Brandon's parents. Then we over to Matt and Elizabeth's parents house for their "Bon Voyage" party. We are really going to miss our movies, dinner (mainly Tuscan Oven towards the end there) and just plain hang out buddies. We wish you guys the best in Texas!

Well until next time... have a great day!

xoxo,
Krista (and Brandon)
